Hazards

The Arts Centre Te Matatiki Toi Ora strives to be open and accessible to all and is working to remove barriers for visitors with mobility impairment. The restoration of the historic buildings after the earthquakes of 2010 and 2011 has resulted in new lifts and enhanced facilities. In the School of Art building, a ramp leads you into the building, and Maker Workshop is located around the left corner. The space is easily accessible through double doors. There are two mobility access parks in Market Square and two in Hereford Street, with no time limit. If you have any more questions before your visit, please call us on 03 366 0989.

Toilet location

All our bathrooms are accessible, located directly across the hallway and next to the accessible building entrance.
