FREE WORKSHOPS for the residents of the Wollombi Valley

Please join us for Wellbeing & Psychological Preparedness Workshops presented by Matt Milne, Program Coordinator at the Rural Adversity Mental Health Program on Saturday, 14th June from 9am to 1pm at the Wollombi Tennis Club

9am: Psychological Preparedness (1 hour) Discover why mental preparedness is just as crucial as physical readiness in times of disaster. Explore stress responses, resilience-building techniques, and resources for recovery.

10-10:30pm: Morning Tea

10:30am: Wellbeing & Mental Health (2 hours) Dive into the impact of stress on the body, the importance of self-care, and the PERMA model for wellbeing. Develop your own self-care plan and take practical steps toward a healthier mindset.

12:30- 1.00pm: Lunch
