Connecting & Caring for Nature at RMIT

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Biodiversity is the variety of all life on Earth. We rely on it - for our air, water, food and even shelter - and we also affect it through our activities.

Join us for this panel discussion, as part of Sustainability Week and hear from experts in fields spanning from ecology to psychology talk about how their research relates to biodiversity - it's measurement and management. The panellists will also answer questions from you the audience on all things biodiversity-related.

Hear from:

- Prof Sarah Bekessy (RMIT University)
- Dr Matthew Selinske (RMIT University)
- Dr Catherine Leigh (RMIT University)

Set in the heart of Melbourne's CBD during National Biodiversity Month, this inaugural event will also provide tips on how you can connect with and care for biodiversity, even in places you may not have realized are home to myriad creatures besides ourselves.
