Building a Web App 1: Before you Build | Webinar | Advanced

We've been told that building our own software these days is easy - but is it really? Without having a basic understanding of software, databases and how system interact, it can feel like you're climbing a mountain made of honey.

In this session you'll learn :

• Basic software development fundamentals (not technical!)

• How databases interact with files

• How web hosting works and what limits you have

• What the next steps are when you need to scale

• What you need to do before you build an app

Who this is for: Small business owners and sole traders who are keen to start building their own web-based software.

What to bring: A laptop or tablet, and a rough idea of what you'd like to build.

This webinar is hosted by Dante St James from Clickstarter Education in partnership with BUSY Business for the Australian Government's Digital Solutions program. You can find out more about the program here.
