Community sport and recreation play a vital role in bringing people together. Across Queensland, clubs, volunteers, recreation providers and community organisations create opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to connect, participate and belong.
Join Cameron French, General Manager, Participation at the Australian Sports Commission, for an engaging discussion on the future of community sport in Australia. He will discuss the Play Well National Sport Participation Strategy and how sporting organisations, clubs, local governments and community leaders can work together to strengthen participation and create positive experiences for everyone.
Cameron will be joined by Sarah Scarce, Founder and Director of the Aqua English Project, a water safety program for newly arrived migrants and refugees.
