Building Biodiverse Schools
Event description
ResourceSmart Schools is an award-winning Victorian Government program that assists schools to embed sustainability in everything they do. The BBS workshop will support your school to identify actions and projects that will improve and protect your local ecosystems.
Come along and fast-track sustainability in your school:
- Meet and work with like-minded individuals
- Create a structure to achieve sustainability in your school
- Get access to an RSS facilitator every week and to sustainability knowledge
- You can join from anywhere

26 July: Developing a Biodiverse School
02 August: Completing a Biodiversity Audit for your School
09 August: Creating a Biodiversity School Action Plan
16 August: Biodiversity in the Curriculum and Creating Environmentally-Aware Students
23 August: Engaging the School Community in Building Biodiversity
30 August: Biodiversity Forum – Guest speakers to inform, inspire and engage

This event is designed specifically for regionally located schools and teachers across Gippsland, Grampians, Hume and Loddon Mallee in Victoria. If you or your organisation are interested in attending and are unsure if you are in these regions or are interested in presenting to the audience, please contact RegionalRSS@sustainability.vic.gov.au
