About this Event

The Social Startup Studio at CSI Swinburne is excited to be launching two brand new resources for early-stage social enterprises: The Building Blocks for Impact Capital Tool and Masterclasses.

The Building Blocks for Impact Capital Tool is an online diagnostic device designed to help early-stage social enterprises identify and assess the organisational ‘building blocks’ needed to access social finance and funding.  A beta version of the Tool will be available from the end of October, with the final version scheduled to be released in mid-2023.

To support its introduction, the Social Startup Studio will be running five FREE online Building Blocks for Impact Capital Masterclasses.  Designed for early-stage social enterprises and hosted by the Director of the Social Startup Studio, Libby Ward-Christie, the Masterclasses will provide participants with practical advice on how to use and best leverage the Building Blocks for Impact Capital Tool to successfully develop their social enterprises.

The Masterclasses are open to early-stage Victorian social enterprises and are FREE to access and have been developed with the generous support of the Victorian Government, Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions

Who are the BB4IC Masterclasses for?

Early-stage Victorian social enterprises preparing to access social finance and funding, social entrepreneurs, social enterprise staff and board members.

The BB4IC Masterclasses are free to access, held online, and go for approximately 90 minutes. There will be five BB4IC Masterclasses in October and November 2022, and each will cover the same content, so please only register for one Masterclass. 

The BB4IC Masterclasses are an important step if you are thinking of applying to the Social Startup Studio’s Aviate Program in future.
