Building Good Partnerships: Session 3 of the Funding Series
Event description
Building Good Partnerships: Corporates and Non-Profits Working Together- Session 3 of The Funding Series
In collaboration with the BforGood Programme - a partnership between the Wakatipu Community Foundation and the Queenstown Business Chamber of Commerce. Please note that spaces are limited.
What does it really mean to be a great partner?
Register your interest to join us for the third session in The Funding Series as we explore what it takes to build meaningful partnerships that deliver real, long-term impact and benefit for both corporate, non-profit and the community.
This session combines a panel discussion with a hands-on workshop, exploring the key ingredients of successful collaboration: aligned values, strategic intent, shared purpose, and mutual benefit.
Facilitated by Vic Crockford, Executive Director of communications and government relations consultancy, Heft, hear from local charities and corporates, including iFLY, Whakatipu Youth Trust, KiwiHarvest, AJ Hackett Bungy, and Southern Lakes Sanctuary as they share their insights and what they've learned about making partnerships work.
This workshop is ideal for established organisations that are either ready to begin partnering with corporates or are already active in this space and looking to deepen their understanding.
Panel Facilitator: Vic Crockford
Vic is the Executive Director of nationwide communications and government relations consultancy, Heft, and the Project Director at the Coalition to End Women's Homelessness - an advocacy body working to shine a light on women's homelessness in Aotearoa. She is also a member of Queenstown-Lakes District Council's Climate and Biodiversity Reference Group and the Chair of Arts Access Aotearoa, a not-for-profit that creates opportunities for Deaf and disabled audiences and artists, as well as for people in Corrections. Before these roles, she was Chief Executive at Community Housing Aotearoa, the peak body for the community housing sector, and worked in communications and government relations in the energy sector.
Please note: This workshop has limited capacity and is designed for established organisations. By completing this form, you are registering your interest only, your place is not yet confirmed. If your registration is successful, we will contact you via email to confirm your spot.
If demand exceeds capacity, or if your organisation is still in its early stages, we still encourage you to register your interest. This helps us gauge interest and may lead to a similar event being offered later in the year.
The more we understand your needs, the better we can tailor future sessions for The Funding Series.
The Funding Series is created in partnership by huddl, Three Lakes Cultural Trust, Sports Central, The Conservation Alliance and Queenstown Lakes District Council.
