Building Pasture Resilience: Tackling Dieback & Rebuilding Productivity | Boonah
Event description
What are the risks and what are the opportunities to build stronger pastures this summer?
This workshop designed for producers concerned about pasture dieback who are looking to improve the resilience and productivity of their pasture systems through informed pasture establishment and species selection.
The session aims to provide producers with the tools and confidence to manage pasture dieback and build more resilient pasture systems through strategic decision-making and proactive planning.
What you’ll learn on the day:
Hear the latest research and findings on pasture dieback from Queensland and New South Wales experts.
Learn about proven strategies for successful pasture establishment and improvement.
Explore recommended grass and legume species that are better suited to your property and show resilience to dieback.
Tailoring grazing to support tropical species after Kikuyu loss.
Understand what your new pasture needs.
