Whether you've just landed your first full-time role, are saving for your first home, or are building a side business, understanding how money, borrowing and tax work together is key to building wealth.

In this session, Ritesh from The Finance Nest covers budgeting, borrowing capacity and planning for your first home, followed by Yesha Modi - founder and director of YMS & Associates, Certified Practicing Accountant and tax agent, who explains how tax fits into your financial picture: what's really coming out of your pay, what you can legitimately claim, how super can help you buy a home, and what to get right from day one if you're running a side hustle.

You'll walk away with:

Understand your payslip, tax return and HECS
Claim what you're entitled to, backed by proper records
Use super strategically, including the First Home Super Saver (FHSS) for your first home
Property and investment tax basics: Capital gain tax (CGT), negative gearing and crypto
Set up your side hustle right: ABN, GST, setting aside tax, and when to consider a structure

Practical, jargon-free and relevant whether you're just starting out or well into your career.
