Building Your Personal Elevator Pitch
Event description
Building your personal elevator pitch
Articulating your personal elevator pitch - for impact - requires effective strategies to establish who you are as a confident professional, embarking on your journey of entrepreneurship, and what it is you stand for. This capacity-building workshop is for all members of the Spark Collective and includes activities and critical principles to identify how members want to be perceived as a professional. By analysing a suite of bio models - including Alina Dini's from Whirl, members will quickly identify effective words to influence others and sell the impact and significance of their business idea.
Participants will workshop, in 45 minutes, a personal pitch to best present themselves to customers, mentors, colleagues and investors - with impact.
This is a 'move the needle' activity for all participants - starters to those going global, and will 'facilitate interaction' with those at your Spark Festival, as well later in their business contexts.
Outcome - a 2-5 sentence 'personal elevator pitch' to use for introductions, demonstrating how they want to be perceived as an Entrepreneur / Business person. This workshop/ pitch is the first step in the process of crafting a bio for impact.
EnergyLab and Milly Young (Programs Manager) + Alina Dini have already benefitted from this workshop.
