Built to Last
Event description
Join us for our next Built to Last gathering, where church leaders will be equipped with practical gifts and insights to strengthen prayer in their congregations. This session will focus on developing more intentional, Spirit-led prayer ministries that move beyond routine and cultivate lasting fruit in the life of your church. Come ready to be encouraged, resourced, and inspired to lead your people deeper into the presence and power of God.
We will hear from a NYC Basketball Legend who shares how Jesus changed his life. As a high school phenomenon, Bill Rieser had a thunderous slam dunk and intimidating game that humiliated opponents and left collegiate coaches salivating. His sky-high leaps were so miraculous that the street players nicknamed the Italian boy from East Harlem, “White Jesus” … but his bad attitude, drug and alcohol abuse, and philandering lifestyle derailed that dream. It wasn't until God's amazing grace intervened that Bill found his real identity in Christ and found the real Jesus – and discovered the true Miracle Worker who changes lives.
Bill now serves as Encounter Pastor in Kentucky but makes frequent trips back to NYC, where he encourages many ministry leaders with his “kingdomly leaping” gifts to help develop more fruitful prayer ministries and life-changing recovery ministries. We will have a limited supply of Bill’s recent book, Vertical Leap, for giveaway to our attendees at next week’s meeting. When you leave that meeting, we are confident that you will be inspired to reach new heights with Jesus.
Come for a time of encouragement, fellowship, and community!
9am-Noon in the MNYBA Chapel! Lunch will be included and we will also be giving away a $500 Church Grant!
