Join Queensland Department of Primary Industries' Tim Emery and a local veterinary expert for an engaging, practical workshop focused on improving herd fertility and outcomes.

Improving herd fertility improves productivity and profitability while also reducing livestock emissions.

This session will explore key strategies and tools to enhance productivity, profitability, and long-term sustainability.

Topics include:

  • Setting clear and effective breeding objectives.

  • Bull Breeding Soundness Evaluation and understanding morphology.

  • Estimated Breeding Values (EBVs) – how to make effective use of them.

  • Understanding what valuable information can be accessed online.

  • Key findings from current research projects.


Whether you're a seasoned producer or just starting out, this workshop offers insights to help you make informed breeding decisions and drive better herd performance.
