Join us for a joyful celebration of 150 years of Bundaleer Forest — the birthplace of Australia’s renewable timber plantation industry. This free, family-friendly event invites everyone with a connection to the forest, past and present, as well as all who love this iconic place, to gather in the picturesque picnic ground for a day of connection, community and celebration.
Enjoy live music, nature play, and old-fashioned picnic games, explore history tours led by local historian Leith Cooper, and discover displays of forest artefacts, photography and timber craft in Maple & Pine. A day of honouring the people and stories that have shaped Bundaleer Forest across generations.
Bring your picnic rug or camp chair, enjoy delicious food from local food trucks and coffee vans, and reconnect with the social traditions that have made Bundaleer a much-loved community gathering place for 150 years.
