Event description

Get creative these school holidays at our hands-on kids' workshop where young artists will enjoy two fun, eco-friendly activities:

Paint a Bunting Flag:
Kids will paint on repurposed fabric, giving new life to old materials! Their unique artwork will then be transformed into bunting by the SJ Bunting Library at their next Sew-In Day. The colourful bunting will be available for the community to borrow for free — perfect for birthdays, picnics, events, while also offering a fun, eco-friendly alternative to disposable decorations. To check out the bunting currently available for loan, click here. More bunting will be added as they're made.

Decorate Your Own Library Bag:
Every child will also receive their own fabric library bag to decorate and take home — a practical and personal souvenir to carry books, treasures, or art supplies!

When: Wednesday, 16th of July 10am - 11:30am
Where: Byford Library (858 South Western Highway, Byford)
Ages: Suitable for kids aged 3+
