Event description

Burlesque Bootcamp: The Fundamentals is a 4-week beginner-friendly course designed to get you moving, learning, and feeling fabulous in your own skin—burlesque-style.

Led by burlesque performer and teacher Holly Hornet, and presented by the Muse School of Burlesque, this course is your invitation to step into the world of tease, glamour, and self-expression.

Whether you've never taken a dance class or you’re just curious about what burlesque is all about, this is the perfect place to start.

Each week, we’ll explore one of the core building blocks of burlesque—struts, bumps, grinds, shimmies, and glove peels—with playful choreography to help you bring it all together.

You’ll also learn a little bit of burlesque history, because knowing where this powerful artform came from helps us connect more deeply with our own expression today.

This class is all about movement, confidence, and joy. You don’t need to be a dancer. You don’t need to wear heels. You just need to show up, as you are. This is a safe, welcoming space for all genders, all bodies, all backgrounds, and all levels of experience.

Come as you are. Move how you like. Leave feeling powerful. and

Let’s build your burlesque foundation together—one shimmy at a time.
