Burning of the Canes – a night of fire, feast and fine wine

We’re celebrating the new season with Burning of the Canes – an unforgettable evening where tradition meets flame, flavour, and fine wine.

In a ritual as old as the vineyard itself, the pruned canes will be set alight, symbolising renewal and the beginning of a new growing season. At the heart of the night, a cane-woven sculpture will blaze against the sky, marking the official launch of our flagship 2020 Tutelina Shiraz.

The Wine
Guests will be among the first to experience the highly anticipated new vintage. Your ticket includes a bottle of the 2020 Tutelina Shiraz to take home – the very wine unveiled beneath the firelit sky. Throughout the evening, we’ll explore Tutelina’s story as it unfolds across three distinct terroirs: the cool elegance of the Adelaide Hills, the bold structure of McLaren Vale, and the earthy richness of Langhorne Creek.

The Feast
The evening’s feast will be created by acclaimed chef Duncan Welgemoed, renowned for his fearless, inventive approach to food. Expect a dining experience as bold and memorable as the wine itself.
