    Event description

Burnout and How to Prevent It!

Join Professor Craig Hassed in discussion with our M3CS Director of Innovation Megan Flamer on the important topic of burnout. We live in challenging and rapidly changing times and this is reflected in the workplace for many people. Expectations, the pace of life, workplace stress, workplace relationships, and the encroachment of technology on what used to be called downtime, are some of the drivers of this. One way this can express itself is by increasing the risk of burnout. Our April seminar will explore what burnout is, what the drivers are, and some strategies on how to prevent and manage it.

Exploring Meditation, Meaning and the Mind:

This free monthly webinar series offers a deep dive into the realm of contemplative wisdom. Every first Thursday of the month at lunchtime, immerse yourself in discussions with a diverse panel of thinkers, meditators, researchers, and individuals from various wisdom traditions, discussing topics like mindful parenting, burnout, morality, and the impacts of technology on attention. These sessions, guided by Professor Craig Hassed, conclude with an interactive Q&A, giving you a unique opportunity to engage with the panelists. This series is an open invitation to explore the profound impact of contemplative practices' and bridge the gap between ancient wisdom and the complexities of modern living.
