MANA Study: Meaning Agency and Nurturing using Occupational Performance Coaching (OPC) Apartment
This presentation walks through our journey so far on a randomised controlled trial funded by the Health Research Council, examining the effectiveness of OPC when its implemented in the current service delivery context. The focus is on the ‘lived experience’ as a researcher of undertaking complex intervention research in the complex system that is the NZ rehabilitation environment. Strategy, lessons learnt and the opportunity to eat cake will be emphasised.

Dr Fi Graham Bio
Fi Graham is a Senior Lecturer with the RTRU: Te Whare whakamatutu at the University of Otago Wellington teaching postgraduate, interprofessional rehabilitation. Fi resides in Chch and is a registered occupational therapist and her research interests include the efficacy and uptake of interventions that improve the social participation of children with neurodisability, and telehealth as a means to improve access and equity in service delivery.
