Bus Tour 2026

The much-anticipated Solar Dwellings Bus Tour returns on Sunday, 11 October 2026.

Join us as we visit 4–5 Solar Dwellings-designed homes, beginning with the multi-award-winning Catalina Sustainable Home. We'll then make our way through a selection of inspiring energy-efficient homes before returning to Solar Dwellings HQ.

Event Details

• Date: Sunday 11th October 2026

• Start: Registrations open at 8:30am, with the tour departing promptly at 9:30am. Please arrive by 9:00am to ensure we can leave on time.

  Enjoy complimentary tea and coffee on arrival and take the opportunity to meet your fellow tour participants before we set off.

• Tea Breaks: We will stop along the way at a park

• Finish: Approx. 2:00pm

• Where: 23 Green St, Mt Hawthorn. Start and finish @ Solar Dwellings office

• Cost: $45 per person includes GST (Plus booking fee)

Discounted tickets are available for concession card holders and those experiencing financial hardship.

All profits from this event will go to The Hunger Project.

Event Disclaimer & Conditions of Entry

By purchasing a ticket and participating in the Solar Dwellings Bus Tour, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk
Participation in this event is entirely voluntary. You acknowledge that attending the event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, trips, falls, injury, illness and adverse weather conditions. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation and agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Solar Dwellings will not be liable for any injury, accident, loss or damage sustained during the event.

2. Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for the care and security of their own personal belongings. Solar Dwellings accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of personal property during the event.

3. Respect for Private Property
The homes visited during the tour are private residences. Participants are expected to treat each property with respect and care. Any participant whose negligent actions result in damage to a property may be held responsible for the cost of repair or replacement.

4. Photography & Filming
Photographs and video recordings may be taken throughout the event for promotional and marketing purposes. By attending, you consent to your image or likeness being used by Solar Dwellings, without compensation, in any media now or in the future. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please advise our team at registration.

5. Smoking/Vaping
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited throughout the duration of the event, including on the bus and at all homes visited during the tour. Participants are expected to respect the homeowners, other guests and the private properties being visited. Anyone who fails to comply with this condition may be asked to leave the tour without a refund.

6. Participation
By booking and attending this event, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Conditions of Entry. You acknowledge that you participate at your own risk and are responsible for your own health, safety and well-being throughout the event.
