Bus Tour to Six Historic Buildings in Mulgoa Valley
Event description
Visit the grounds of The Cottage (C 1810), Glenmore (1825), St Thomas Church (1836), Fernhill (1845), Fairlight (c 1860s) and Glenleigh (1884) on this bus tour.
Visits to the Cox houses will be led by Dr James Broadbent. There will also be commentary at the other sites.
Please meet at the Hayshed, Fernhill at 9.30 am for a 10.00 am sharp departure and wear comfortable shoes and hat. Morning tea will be provided at Fairlight or The Cottage. Bottled water will be provided at lunchtime but bring your own if required. A boxed picnic lunch will also be provided in the grounds of Fernhill.
Participants should be physically able to board the bus and walk on rural, but relatively level, grounds. The bus will be setting down passengers close to the properties.
