Bush Chef - Cooking Over Fire

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Bush Chef is Centennial Parklands newest extension to Kids Vs Wild.

As the days get colder, fire craft becomes the priority for survival. Learn how to make to use your campfire to cook delicious campfire dishes!

The skills you learn in this workshop can be used for for future camping trips, picnics and 'bush birthday parties' to fill your tummies.

Children will get to make and cook their own damper, attempt at making popcorn over the fire and another dish if time allows.

Please note: In case bush fire ratings are above low, we are not allowed to light fires and will change the content of the program to shelter building, outdoor challenges, and free play.

Age: 5 – 12 years

Please note this is a DROP OFF program. Parents do not attend with children.

Special Notes:

We will supervise your children during the lunch hour if you book in for Kids vs Wild - Campfire Club in the morning. Please BYO Lunch if your child is staying the whole day.

This program will go ahead in all weather except high winds, so please come prepared with wet weather gear. Children must wear enclosed shoes.
