Bush Playgroup | Autumn | Term 1 2025

The Bush Circle. Where we gather together, play together, grow together, connect with nature and ourselves. 

Bush Playgroup Sessions are held on Wednesday mornings | 9:30 to 11:00 am | 0 to 5 year olds and parents/carers. 

Here play is unstructured and child led, full of magic, awe and wonder, add a sprinkle of dirt and we have a morning of adventure. All activities are simply invitations, we follow our children's lead while staying safe and grounded in nature. Play and activities are influenced by the seasons and the changes occurring around us.

The Bush Circle is located off the beaten track, on picturesque Ironstone Creek Sanctuary, Gubbi Gubbi Country. The sanctuary is located in the hinterland between Noosa/Cooroy and Gympie, in the Mary Valley. 

🌿 In Term 1, we will gather to celebrate Autumn over three dates – 5 March, 19 March and 2 April. During these sessions we will celebrate Autumn by creating rituals with fire, creating with natural fibres and discovering the beauty of gems. 

 These sessions we will engage our hands, hearts and heads, through:

🤎  mindfulness activities where we connect with ourselves and nature around us

🤎  child led play - loose parts, water play, messy play, balance beam, swing, small worlds play

🤎  social connection & relationships

🤎  parent and child creative crafts

🤎  stories

Tickets are $15 with additional siblings $5 (under 1s free). No refunds are available for these sessions, but a make up session can be offered if required due to illness.
