Bush Playgroup | Term 4 2024

Bush Playgroup Sessions are held weekly on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 to 11:00 am during the school term. The sessions are aimed towards for 0 to 5ish year olds and their parents/carers. The Bush Circle is a gathering place for small and big people and provides a space for children and adults to connect with the natural world through child led wild nature play and activities. The Bush Circle is located off the beaten track, on picturesque Ironstone Creek Sanctuary, Gubbi Gubbi Country. The sanctuary is located between Noosa/Cooroy and Gympie, in the Mary Valley. 

🌿 In Term 4, our play will follow the season of Spring. We will connect with the earth by noticing the world come to life around us. We will be building a bush food garden during the term for the children to learn about these important plants. We will also be having a visit from Auntie Christine, Author of the children's story Bush Tucker Girl, this event will be held on Thursday 31 October which can also be booked here.

We will gather together, play together, connect with nature and ourselves. To connect with nature we will tune into the place and the changes happening around us. Play is unstructured and child led, and all activities are simply invitations. We will follow our children's lead while staying safe and grounded in nature. Term 4 will consist of 8 sessions and sessions can be purchased in multiple classes or casually (if available).
