Event description
We are pleased to present this beautiful one of kind hand painted boab seed donated by the artist, Ms Naomy Briston.
The “Bush Plumb” is painted to represent life as a seed and its relationship to family kinships, the different colour dots represent family kinships in surrounding regions.
The tickets are $20 each or 3 for $50 and all proceeds are donated to the Marion Scrymgour, Labor for Lingiari campaign.

Biography
My name is Naomy Briston, I am a local Larrikia woman and mother of two children. My Mother was from the Stolen Generation and taken away as a small child to Croker Island, the film Croker Island Exodus features my mum (Alice) in the film.
I am the CEO of Numus Designs and am a local Aboriginal Artist with much of my artwork related to family history growing up in Darwin, Tiwi Islands and Daly River regions.
My artist work is all hand crafted and designed by me personally and includes hand painting, screen printing, special designs, dress making and special events.
