Event description
Last Bushwalking Club for 2024 - Let's explore Minyon Falls!
We will meet at Minyon Grass Picnic Area and walk down to the base of the falls (about 2.5km each way), swim and then walk back up the track (medium fitness required for uphill walk).
Bring proper hiking shoes and swimmers
Schedule
10:00am - Everyone meets at Minyon Grass Picnic Area
10:15am - We will leave by 10:15am and walk to the base of the falls, swim and come back.
2:00pm - We should be back at your car by this time
Accessibility / Important info
- Medium level of fitness required for an 6km walk with steep sections and some rocks
- Child friendly (under 16's must be with an adult)
- Bring a water bottle, snacks, swimmers and insect protection
- Wear good walking shoes & be sun smart
- Public toilets are available at the start of the walk
