Event description

Bushwalking Club - Let's explore the Rail Trail at Murwillumbah

This is a mostly flat walk from Murwillumbah Station to Stokers Siding Station 

Schedule

10:00am - Everyone meets at Stokers Siding Station

10:15am - We will leave by 10:15am and carpool to Murwillumbah station, leaving most cars at Stokers Siding

10:30am - We will start walking from Murwillumbah to Stokers Siding, with some snack breaks

1:00pm - We should be back at your car at Stokers Siding by this time

1:15pm - Someone drives people back to the cars at Murwillumbah

Accessibility / Important info

- Medium level of fitness required for an 8km walk over flat paved terrain

- Dog and child friendly (under 16's must be with an adult)

- Bring a water bottle, snacks and insect protection

- Wear good walking shoes & be sun smart 

- Public toilets are available at Murwillumbah and Stokers Siding
