Carmen Stewart will be talking about Imagine Northern Rivers – a series of 28 workshops happening across the region to explore what safe, regenerative and adaptive futures could be like within the lifetime of a child born today, and the actions needed to get there. Regional and place-based futures are being explored through the lenses of climate adaptation, housing, the economy, natural environment, community wellbeing and governance. A futurist by background, Carmen strongly believes that the stories we tell ourselves about the future matter, and Imagine NR is a chance for us to shape a shared understanding of what’s possible for our collective future in a vulnerable and shifting world.
