Business for Country - Boonwurrung program
Event description
UPDATE THURSDAY 27TH OCT: Only 3 spots are available for small businesses. If you are looking to book for more than three, please email us at nora@regenprojects.earth, Nora.
Are you looking to start a cultural connection with your local First Peoples?
Australia's business leaders are increasingly looking for guidance on how to respectfully operate on First Nations lands, waterways and skies. Finding a place to begin can be so hard and daunting that it prevents us from taking a step forward. Business for Country is a culturally-safe space for First Nations and non-First Nations people to come together and work towards lasting reciprocal relationships.
Business for Boonwurrung Country
Building on the success of our pilot, the Boonwurrung Land & Sea Council and Regeneration Projects have teamed up again to organise another 3-session program for businesses, government and not for profit organisations across southeast Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula to consider how they can become a Business for Boonwurrung Country.
As part of a small group, you'll experience culture from knowledgeable and skilled Culture Carriers in three consecutive workshops, two online and one in-person. Unlike standard cultural awareness training, we'll create space to explore ongoing relationships, resource sharing and partnerships to support the regeneration of Country, Culture and Community in the long term.
