Business for Good Workshop: Marketing
Event description
Who is this for?
This workshop is designed for South Australian small businesses that are passionate about making a difference. Whether you're a social enterprise, a First Nations owned business, a certified B Corp, or a small or family business looking to embed social and environmental impact into your operations - you’re warmly invited to join us.
About the Workshop
It's one thing to get a follower, a like, or even a re-share, but how can you maintain momentum? How can you build an engaged digital community that trusts your product or service?
This workshop will look at how successful social enterprises and for-profit companies utilise the engagement funnel to maintain interest in their brand. Attendees will workshop engagement funnels with their peers and leave with a template of their own to use as a launchpad for their next communications strategy.
This workshop is great for entry-level communications professionals or those who find themselves slipping into ad hoc posting and need a good kick up the bum.
Spoiler alert: building and maintaining an engaged community requires TIME. You will need it!
Facilitator
Led by Ruby Bisson, a communications strategist and lover of values-aligned projects that disrupt ineffective policy, build momentum, and influence positive change. As former Director of NSW-based agency Weekday, Ruby worked with leading for-purpose organisations and advocacy campaigns including the Social Enterprise World Forum, Yes23, and Youth Voice in Parliament. She also founded the literary subscription service WellRead, blending creativity with commercial know-how.
