Event description

Join our last Business Matters event of the year on 21 November at the Westin in partnership with Australian Retirement Trust.

With the highly successful Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games now behind us, the world’s attention is now turning to LA28. But with that Games set to be delivered almost entirely by the private sector, it’s time to examine how Queensland business can partner with government and the community to lead the agenda for a Brisbane 2032 Games to drive enduring economic growth and prosperity for all Queenslanders. It’s about answering the call to get ready - and be ready - for one of the greatest business opportunities of our generation.
Moderated by renowned ABC Journalist Ellen Fanning, the following panelists will have the opportunity to gather and explore the significant economic matters that impact us all now and into the future:

  1. Kieren Perkins OAM, CEO at Australian Sports Commission
  2. Kate Meyrick, Director at Urbis

Plus, Business Matters guests will be in the draw to win two business class return tickets to any destination on the Virgin Australia domestic network. Ts&Cs apply.
