Business Women Australia Monthly Virtual Member Connect: Smart Systems, Tech & AI

As AI and digital transformation continue to reshape business, October’s focus is on sharing our methods and experiences in building smart systems, embracing innovation, tech, and leading change responsibly. This month, Business Women Australia brings members and guests together for a candid conversation about operational leverage, productivity, and the realities of AI adoption. Anchored in the Inner Development Goals dimensions of Thinking + Acting, we explore our own expectations and roles, and the impact of rapid change in our organisations and teams.

At BWA, our purpose is to unite and develop conscious women leaders who uplift business, community, and society. Technology is not just a tool; it is a leadership competency. As we deepen our understanding of technology, impact, digital fluency, and ethical discernment, we can shape how innovation is applied, governed, and aligned with human values.

Whether you’re a long-time member, a newbie, or considering joining soon, this online experience is just what you need to “get out there” and get connected from the comfort of your own space.

Grab your cuppa and jump online for a casual yet valuable networking session with BWA members and friends from across the country. Hosted by warm, down-to-earth leaders from the BWA community, expect candid insights from life in the fast lane - plus growth, optimism, and genuine connection.

What to expect each month (last Thursday):

  • A check-in and opportunity to connect with peers around the nation

  • Real conversations, idea-sharing, and practical takeaways

  • A supportive space to celebrate wins, navigate challenges, and recharge

  • New ideas, knowledge, and insights.

Key Takeaways

  • Expand Your Network: Connect with influential women across professions, enterprises, sectors, and states.

  • Share & Learn: Swap ideas, challenges, and successes in a trusted environment.

  • Grow Personally & Professionally: Fresh perspectives from diverse industries.

  • Uplifting Community: Unwind, be inspired, have a laugh, and be heard.

  • Meaningful Interaction: Limited numbers for real engagement within BWA’s renowned safe parameters.

  • Surprises: We love spontaneity - shout-outs, offers, and gifts. Got something to add? Tell us before or during the event.

Non-members thinking about joining are welcome to come and experience what BWA is all about. Register for the Zoom link.

By joining the Monthly BWA Connect, you’ll build self-leadership across the year - from self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and resilience to confidence, accountability, purpose, adaptability, time and stress management, continuous learning, and integrity.

Have a topic, framework, or resource to add to the agenda? Email Lyn Hawkins at Lyn@businesswomenaustralia.com.au or raise it in the chat during the session.

Spots are limited to keep it highly interactive - don’t miss it!

Did you know?

BWA is aligning our community of practice with the Inner Development Goals, nurturing the mindsets and skills that enable women to lead with purpose and contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Inner Development Goals (IDGs) cultivate the inner capacities, such as self-awareness, empathy, purpose, and resilience.

This session is specifically aligned with the Inner Development Goals (Thinking & Being) and UN SDGs 3, 4 & 5. This session will inspire focus, flow, and purposeful leadership.

The IDGs are the “how” behind the SDGs - building the inner world that enables outer change. BWA provides opportunities to foster and develop this growth.
