Business Women Australia Online: New Financial Year, New Tax Strategy

With the new financial year underway and recent Federal Budget reforms bringing significant changes to Australia’s investment and taxation landscape, staying informed has become essential for anyone looking to protect, grow, and strategically manage their wealth.

Tax rules, investment structures, and wealth-building strategies are constantly evolving. Understanding what these changes mean — and how they may impact your personal or business circumstances — can help you make more informed decisions and identify opportunities in a changing environment.

Join Business Women Australia for an insightful online conversation facilitated by Stacey Payrits and Helen Nan, as they unpack the latest developments and explore the potential implications for investors, business owners, professionals, and individuals focused on building long-term financial security.

Together, Stacey and Helen will provide practical insights into the key reforms shaping Australia’s investment landscape, including changes and considerations around:

  • Capital Gains Tax – understanding potential impacts on investment decisions, asset ownership, and long-term wealth strategies

  • Negative gearing – exploring what proposed changes may mean for property investors and future investment approaches

  • Trust structures – examining how these structures may be affected and what considerations investors and business owners should be aware of

  • Property held inside superannuation – understanding the evolving conversation around superannuation, property ownership, and retirement planning

The key question is: Where are the new opportunities now?

During this session, you’ll gain insights into:

  • What’s changing, when these reforms may take effect, and why they matter

  • How the evolving tax landscape could influence investment decisions and wealth-building strategies

  • Who may be protected from certain reforms and where potential opportunities may exist

  • Tax-effective strategies that may support long-term financial goals

  • Why superannuation and insurance bonds are gaining increased attention as part of broader wealth planning conversations

Whether you are a property investor, business owner, professional, or someone actively planning for your financial future, this session will provide valuable perspectives to help you navigate change, understand your options, and approach the new financial year with greater clarity and confidence.
