Fashion production makes up 10 per cent of humanity's carbon emissions, dries up water sources, and pollutes rivers and streams. About 85 per cent of all textiles go to the dump each year. And washing some types of clothes sends thousands of bits of plastic into the ocean.

Textiles in our home have transitioned from being all natural 50 years to finding ourselves surrounded by synthetics on our floors, walls and even beds. These bring their own health and safety hazards as well as having an irreversible impact on our environment.

So what can we do about it? This discussion will explore where fashion and textiles are heading and how you can make a difference with style.
