September School Holiday Sports Program

Looking for an active and exciting way to keep the kids busy these school holidays? Join us for the Burwood Village September School Holiday Sports Program, a free community event designed to get kids moving, learning, and having fun.

Over four days, Myrniong Street will be transformed into pop-up courts where children can enjoy netball and basketball skill sessions, teamwork challenges, and supervised play. Each day features four structured 45-minute sessions, led by experienced coaches who make learning fun and inclusive.

➡️ Please note: This is not a drop-off program. Parents/guardians are required to stay on-site for the duration of their child’s session.

✅ Free and family-friendly no cost to join, just bring your energy!
✅ For kids aged 5-12 years, with two age groups:
 • 5–8 years (younger players, fun games and fundamental skills)
 • 9–12 years (older players, drills, teamwork, and match play)
✅ Skill development from dribbling and passing to teamwork and game play.
✅ Safe environment road closures, fenced courts, and a dedicated first aid station.
✅ Community spirit kids of all abilities are welcome to take part.

Whether your child is trying a sport for the first time or sharpening existing skills, this program is the perfect way to stay active, make friends, and build confidence during the holidays.
