BWA Online Birthday Courageous Conversation "Age is Just a Number."

This online Member-only Courageous Conversation is an opportunity to celebrate our 9th birthday as a national community as we grow meaningful connections with fellow members of Business Women Australia.  

Facilitated by BWA leaders Lyn Hawkins and Vida Carlino, this month we explore the theme "age is just a number".

Using the parameters of the BWA courageous conversation format, this month's topic will raise self-awareness and grow our insights as we share our reflections on age. What better way to celebrate our birthday?

Age does not define our capabilities, aspirations, or potential. How do we grow communities that truly value every age, breaking stereotypes, and supporting diversity? Without judgements, everyone, no matter how many turns around the sun they’ve made, can be afforded opportunity to lead enriched lives. Age is an asset, bringing diverse experiences and perspectives that contribute to a vibrant and dynamic society.

Join us in this online, safe conversation as we explore our beliefs, values, the stories that run through our heads, our emotions, and biases.

Together we will navigate notions of youth, lifelong learning, self awareness, growth, ageism, acceptance and adaptability. As John Lennon once said “Count your age by friends, not years.”
