Event description

A night of relaxed indulgence at White Star Hotel, with a five-course greek feast of locally sourced seafood and Great Southern produce, prepared by Chef, Gord Kahle from Heritage Wine Bar and paired with Lo-Fi, planet-friendly Krasi (wines) by Chalari Wines and a special release beer by Ettie's Brewing.

Starters
Great Southern olives, pickled zucchinis, white onion
Whipped salmon “taramasalata” raw radishes & carrots

First Set of Mezze
Octopus, chickpeas, spigarello (or Tuscan kale)
Mushroom, almond, garlic and saffron
Fried eggplant, goats curd , tomato, red onion

Second set of Mezze
Pickled sardines (or herring), fennel, parsley
Pippis, cabbage, rosemary
Beets, eggs, onions, yoghurt whey

Main course
Roasted whole lamb, more tzatziki
Lemon potatoes
Lamb fat rice, walnut skordalia
Country “Greek Salad” tomato, cucumber, apple, onion & fetta

Dessert
Semolina cake, honey & ouzo, cinnamon cream
