BYA Creative Workshops - Bridgetown
Description
BYA Creative Bridgetown is a fun, hands-on creative program for young people aged 12–25. This program encourages artistic expression and creativity. Young people explore different art forms, try new hands-on projects, and develop their skills in a supportive and safe environment. It’s a space to connect with others, build confidence, and express yourself in fun and imaginative ways.
Sessions will run weekly on Tuesdays over July, August & September, from 3:30 to 5:00 PM, participants will take part in a series of creative workshops, including:
Slime Fun (Tuesday, 28th July)
Let's go back to basics and make slime even make our own slime stress ballsVision Board (Tuesday 4th August)
Use inspiring words and pictures to make our very own vision boards of positivityThinking Box (Tuesday 11th August)
Let's decorate a box, however you like. To put something(s) in it that makes you feel good when you’re feeling a bit unhappy
Smashing Session - Part 1 (Tuesday 18th August)
Let's smash some stuff, to let all our frustrations and bad feelings outRecreate Session - Part 2 (Tuesday 25th August)
We'll recreate something new out of what we smashed last week - Mosaic
Tie Dye (Tuesday 1st September)
Make a fun colourful T-shirt or tote bag with some cool tie dyes, let's put a smile on everyone's face
Dream Catchers (Tuesday 8th September)
Catch all our dreams, whether good or bad in our own homemade dream catchers
Pom Pom Keychains (Tuesday 15th September)
For our last session for the term, we’ll make some fun colourful pom pom keychains
There is a separate ticket for each session, so participants can choose to register for all sessions or just the ones they want.
