Ewingsdale

Totally open to all dancers, beginner or experienced.

This will be a super fun, light hearted and exciting cultural sharing through dance. If you have a body and the willingness to learn then this is for you! Vanessa from African Dance Byron Bay teaches regularly on Tuesday nights at Ewingsdale Hall and has offered this night so that you have the opportunity to learn from Bangoura Ke, a West African man, living in Sydney.

Bangoura Ke, or Bk, is one of those rare human beings who exudes an abundance of joy and passion. His depth of knowledge into the Mandingo music and dance is incredible and his willingness to share it with us is beautiful.

Bk will teach a traditional dance choreography from West Africa.

Accompanied by live drumming with Elliott Orr and a few other awesome drummers from the Northern Rivers the energy will be next level!

African dance is a wonderful way to become more comfortable in your body, find new ways of expressing yourself through dance, while simultaneously getting some great exercise.

Please book in and reserve your place.
