After the 2020 hiatus we're so pleased that our signature Business Networking Lunch and Speaker Series is back in Byron Shire! Showcasing inspiring and successful business people within our Sourdough Community our first lunch for 2021 is on Friday, 30 April at Bangalow Hotel.
Guest Speaker Matt Blomfield of Gather By will share how he's changing the way honey is produced and marketed in Australia while building collapsing ecosystems and building value for all stakeholders.
Matt Blomfield is the passionate and visionary co-founder and CEO of Gather By - a for-profit, social enterprise that has developed a new, innovative, regenerative honey farming model. In collaboration with regional communities including First Nations People and several Australian Universities, Gather By produces high-value, pure, raw and potent medicinal and therapeutic honey known as Gather By bioactive+ Australian Manuka that it sells to the local, national and global market.
This regenerative honey farming model Gather By is implementing innovative technology systems, new to the industry, that remotely monitors beehives for the bees health and the honey production.
Join us for drinks on arrival and a two course meal while networking with other local businesses and hearing first hand from inspiring entrepreneurs living in our region such as Matt Blomfield and his innovative enterprise.
