Due to ongoing technical issues with the Yankee Volleyball website preventing proper registration, we have unfortunately had to cancel the 09/21 tournament.

Important: This is an official Yankee Volleyball Tournament.

Prize: 1st place prize choice of backpack or hoodie per player, plus a trophy for the team

2nd place choice of water bottle, draw string bag, or t-shirts per player, plus a trophy for the team

Third place choice of sunglasses, stickers, or volleyball jibbitz per player

After party at Margaritas Nashua for all the teams!

Individual Rating Scale

A-: 8 points (equivalent to a Yankee A-)

B+: 7 points (equivalent to a Yankee B+

B: 6 points (equivalent to a Yankee B)

B-: 5 points (equivalent to a Yankee B-)

C+: 4 points (equivalent to a Yankee C+)

C: 3 points (equivalent to a Yankee C)

C-: 2 points (equivalent to a Yankee C-)

The total points of your team must equal 24. For example, you can have four C+ players (4 points each), and C (3 points) and one B- (5 points) which equals 24.

General Rules

• Follows USA Volleyball (USAV) rules.
• Follows Yankee Volleyball AssociationRules and Policies (http://yankee.org/about/yankee...)
  
• Players must wear shirts with numbers on the front and back.
• Reverse coed with back row attack (and the women's net portion of a co-ed reverse) allows all men to attack the ball from behind the 3 meter line when the ball is above the height of the net. All men are considered back row players. A jump serve is not considered an attack.
• Men are not allowed to block at the net

• All players must be over 18 years old.

Team Ratings

• New players will be evaluated by the tournament director.
• Teams exceeding 24 points will be disqualified and ineligible for prizes.

Game Format

• Matches are to 21 points.
• Each round consists of two games.

• Round 2: Team 3 vs Team 4
• Round 3: Team 1 vs Team 5
• Round 4: Team 2 vs Team 3
• Round 5: Team 4 vs Team 5
• Round 6: Team 1 vs Team 3
• Round 7: Team 2 vs Team 4
• Round 8: Team 3 vs Team 5
• Round 9: Team 1 vs Team 4
• Round 10: Team 2 vs Team 5

• Playoffs: Top three teams enter playoffs, the top team gets a bye in the first round and plays the winner of the first playoff round.

• Note: Ensure to enter each player's information during registration to be eligible for the tournament.

Refund and Transfer Policy

• Cancellation policy:
  You may cancel up to 21 days before the tournament for a full refund. You will get a full refund after 21 days only if the tournament is full and your team is replaced.

• Weather Cancellation Policy:
  Tournament Cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances will be decided by 6:30 a.m. on the day of the tournament. All captains will be emailed at whatever contact information they provide. If captains do not have weekend e-mail access, please let Eric know in advance.
