C Party

Celebrate our Cool, Caring, Creative Community at our C Party! 

Everyone is welcome to join us - it’s free, you just have to get tickets as places are limited.

Dress up as anything starting with C (e..g. Catwoman, Chewbacca, Cinderella, Charlie Chapman, Cleopatra, cowboy, carpenter, cleaner,  cheerleader, cow, cat, chicken, carrot, child, clown, captain, Christmas, cricketer, convict, chimney sweep, caveman, cook, computer geek…).

Come along to a night of Celebrating, Catching up, a Cooperative Challenge and maybe a Catwalk (if anyone is willing). Prizes for the best costume and best catwalk model!

The night kicks off with a C themed potluck at 6pm. Please bring along something starting with C for mains and/or dessert (e.g. chilli con carne, coleslaw, chicken, chickpea curry, cauliflower cheese, celery sticks/ cucumber/ crackers/ cheese, carrot soup, carbonara, cabbage, corn, ciabatta bread, cornbread, couscous, caesar salad, calzone, cannellini beans, coconut, cheesecake, chocolate, cake, cinnamon rolls, cookies, cupcakes, creme brulee, crepes, croissants, crumbles, custard, citrus or caramel slice…). 

It will be BYO drinks - you could opt for some C themed drinks (coca cola, cordial, cocoa, coffee, chai, cranberry juice)…or just any drinks - as long as they are non-alcoholic. 

This party is FREE! 

We’ll have lots of games starting with C available to play during the night (Cranium, Carcassonne, Codenames, Cards, Checkers, Chess) or you may prefer to just Chat with someone new or Catch up with familiar faces. 

Organised by Mid Canterbury TimeBank to help people of all ages connect with others and have some fun! While aimed at adults, Children (if with their Caregivers) are welcome to Come too. 

If you're not a TimeBank member but would like to join in the fun you are more than welcome to register and come along! This is a community event - open to all.
