C2S x C3 | Strength Beyond the Gym - Session 8
Description
Hello beautiful humans,
We’re so excited to bring Connect2Self into the gym as a monthly breathwork and emotional regulation space, running across 10 months on a Sunday.
These sessions are designed to support you not just in training, but in life.
Each 1.5-hour session explores themes of self-love, inner child reflection, the lenses we see life through, emotional regulation, and the courage to do hard things.. in the gym, in relationships, and in everyday moments.
This isn’t about fixing yourself.
It’s about learning how to be with yourself - through training, stress, relationships, and the hard stuff.
A space to slow down, reconnect, and build inner tools that help you show up more grounded, resilient, and self-aware. Whether you’re lifting heavy, navigating work stress, or holding it together everyday.
What to expect:
• A short introduction and grounding
• Practical breathwork tools you can use day-to-day
• Guided reflection and emotional awareness exercises
• A deep, grounded breathwork journey
• Integration and gentle closing
No experience needed. These sessions are suitable for first-time breathers through to advanced practitioners. Each session stands alone, but together they form a powerful, supportive journey over time.
Spots are intentionally limited to keep the space safe, personal, and connected.

We’re offering two ways to join this 10-month journey — casual attendance or a committed series option.

A deeper look at the sessions
Why Breathwork & Nervous System Safety Matter Breathwork is a gentle but powerful way to learn how to feel safe in your own body again. So many of us are living in a constant state of “doing” - pushing, holding, coping, without realising how much tension we’re carrying. Over time, the nervous system forgets what safety actually feels like. These sessions aren’t about forcing anything or pushing through. They’re about slowing down enough to listen. Through conscious breathing, reflection, and time on the mat, we begin to remind the body that it doesn’t have to be on high alert all the time. When the nervous system feels safe, we often notice: • less emotional overwhelm • a calmer mind and nervous system • better recovery, sleep, and focus • more capacity to handle stress and challenge • a deeper sense of self-trust and inner steadiness This work supports you far beyond the session itself. It gently shifts how you respond under pressure, how you move through relationships, and how you come back to yourself when life feels full. Over time, this becomes a different kind of strength, one that isn’t about pushing harder, but about knowing how to come home to yourself.
FAQs
- Do I need experience with breathwork?
No experience is needed. These sessions are suitable for first-time breathers through to experienced practitioners. Everything is guided, and you’re always invited to move at your own pace.
- What should I bring?
Please bring a yoga mat, water, and anything that helps you feel comfortable - a cushion or pillow for your head, an eye mask, layers, or a journal if you like. Creating your own little nest can really support your experience.
- Is this like a workout?
This isn’t a physical workout, but it’s powerful in a different way. Think of it as training your nervous system - supporting recovery, resilience, and how you show up in both training and life.
- What if I feel emotional?
That’s completely okay. Breathwork can bring awareness to emotions that have been sitting quietly in the body. You are always in choice -you can pause, rest, or simply breathe normally at any time. This space is held with care, respect, and confidentiality.
- Is this safe?
Yes. These sessions are designed to be grounded, supportive, and focused on creating safety in the nervous system. We’ll share guidance at the beginning of each session and you’re encouraged to listen to your body throughout. If you have any medical concerns or are unsure whether breathwork is right for you, please reach out before booking - we’re always happy to chat.
- Do I have to commit to all 10 sessions?
Not at all. Each session stands alone and can be attended casually. The 10-session option is simply there for those who feel called to commit to themselves over time.
- Can I come on my own?
Absolutely. Many people come solo. This is a welcoming, non-judgemental space where you don’t need to bring anyone with you — just yourself.
- What’s the cancellation or refund policy?
Due to limited spaces, tickets are non-refundable. If you can’t attend, you’re welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else with prior notice.
- I’m not a gym member - can I still come?
Yes. Non-gym members are very welcome. Please book via the non-member ticket link.
- Who is this for?
This space is for anyone wanting to: • feel more grounded and regulated • build emotional resilience • support recovery and wellbeing • deepen their connection to themselves You don’t need to be “going through something” just open to slowing down and tuning in.
