Cable Beach Broome Audited Beach Clean 2026

Dear Volunteer,

Thank you for registering to join us for "A Hump of an Idea" - the Cable Beach Audited Beach Clean which will start on the grass in front of the Broome Surf Life Saving Club

Below are the key details to ensure a smooth and enjoyable day.

Venue:

    •    Broome SLSC (please meet on the grass west of the surf lifesaving club) by 8.20am

    •    Beach Clean: The clean-up begins at 8:30am and will conclude at 10.30am

What to Bring:

    •    Reusable water bottle: to make sure you stay hydrated.

    •    Closed in shoes, hat and sunsmart clothing: To avoid sunburn and injury please slip, slop and slap.

    •    KeepCup: If you’d like barista coffee as part of the provided morning tea

Event Provisions:

Thanks to our event partners, we will be providing:

    •       Morning tea including a coffee voucher and piece of fruit.

Important Information:

    •       Volunteer Insurance: All volunteers must complete the insurance form prior to the event. The event is listed on the drop down as "Eco Surf Australia" [Link here].

Cancellation: If, due to incremental weather this event needs to be cancelled, event coordinators will make this decision 24 hours prior to the event with notice via social media and email.
