Cacao Ceremony & Smudge Feather Workshop

Mesamadre invites you to join us for a heart-opening Cacao ceremony and creative workshop to make your own Smudge Feather Wand.  

Cacao is an ancient plant medicine that has healing properties for the body and soul. In our cacao ceremony, you will drink ceremonial cacao, inviting you to explore your connection to the heart space; to open yourself to the exploration of the self and your pathway to creativity. You'll also learn about the healing properties and benefits of cacao.

After our Cacao ceremony, we will move into our Smudge Feather Wand Workshop. 

Feather Wands (or Fans) have been used in ceremonies for centuries by many indigenous cultures throughout the world. This is an ancient art of cleansing oneself, others or places of unwanted energies, as well as healing, energy balancing & centring rituals.

In this workshop, you will create your own smudge feather wand with a selenite crystal rod (clarity, clears blocked energy, space cleanser) and also learn about smudging practices and rituals.

• Journal and pen 
• Water bottle 
• Any personal items you would like to add to your feather wand - shells, crystals, feathers
