Cacao portal - a journey to the heart of tradition
Event description
The workshop is divided into 2 parts, the first is an educational session that dives deep into cacao, its culture, history, traditions and neuroscience and the second a ceremonial sound experience to deeply connect with our Uturunku cacao.
Part 1 - Inspired by the worlds original cacao temple (huaca) of Monte Grande in Peru, we invite you to journey with us back in time to where it all began. Hear the story of mother Ngukui and her gift to humanity, a gift to open your heart through cacao, a representation of her blood that connects us all. We will guide you through the cosmovision of cacao and her teachings, including its preparation, intention and the journey it takes us on. Understanding the 3 worlds, the 3 animals and the 3 aspects of consciousness it unlocks. We will also integrate our teachings with modern neuroscience, helping you to understand how cacao is functioning in your brain and the links between the ancient wisdom and the modern world. Bringing you into a space of ultra awareness so you can use cacao in your own life with reverence and respect for its origins.
Part 2 - Join Kelly in a sacred space where the physical and spiritual intertwine. This transformative experience offers an exquisite blend of practices designed to nourish your body, heart, and soul. Immerse yourself in techniques to regulate your nervous system, connect deeply with the profound wisdom of cacao, and experience the calming flow of guided meditation. Bathe in the soothing vibrations of crystal bowls, allowing the sounds to wash away stress and promote relaxation and inner peace. Discover a renewed sense of harmony and well-being in this sacred sanctuary.

Through her trauma-sensitive approach, she explores the sacred elemental and cyclical energies of nature to foster self-connection, groundedness, and personal growth. In a world often focused on external awakening, Kelly empowers her community to return to the heart and body as a path to self-discovery and deeper awareness. Her belief in cacao, yin yoga, music, and movement as powerful tools for this journey is rooted in her own transformative experiences, which led her to complete extensive training in cacao facilitation, advanced trauma-informed yin yoga, and Ecstatic Dance DJ Training. Kelly’s personal journey through trauma and growth has inspired her to guide others towards their true north, using her modalities to offer both playful and profound explorations of self and heart.
