Café Philosophique runs the 2nd Wednesday of the month at the Bridge Hotel in Werribee, exploring the hidden forces that shape our lives through music, poetry and conversation.

On Wednesday June 11th, we will be taking a deep dive into SMELL.

Did you know smell is the only sense that has a direct route to the limbic system, the region related to emotion and memory? 

We will explore how smell influences our lives, why its important to pay more attention to it, and how culturally we respond to it. 

The evening will begin with a smell workshop from Erin Adams from Smell Art. Erin runs workshops, guided smell meditation, smells walks and designs scents for performances, installations and events. We will then hear from our feature poet Fatima Measham, who will lead us into our own creative and reflective writing. After some sharing, we will end with some delicious deserts and deep conversations through our "philosophy café".

Time: 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start. Come early and enjoy a delicious meal at the Bridge!
