Café Sci: Self-organisation

Self-organisation isn't just about a tidy desk.

Join our two speakers talking about how echidna microbiomes and cancer cells organise themselves in ways that promote their own growth.

Dr Tahlia Perry, postdoctoral researcher at Adelaide University, organises EchidnaCSI, a citizen science project that bridges together fields of genetics, microbiology, biochemistry, ecology, and conservation.

+

Dr Justin Coombs, co-inventor of Carina Biotech's lead CAR-T cell, works on therapies genetically engineering patients' T-cells so they can kill cancer.

Facilitated by Dr Lisa Bailey, Senior Exhibitions Manager, MOD.

Want more? Join a moderator-led tour of our exhibition IT’S COMPLICATED at 1:15 pm.
