Cailleach - talk and meditation workshop

Join us as we explore our relationship with the iconic ancientperennial archetype The Cailleach, Cosmic Grandmother, Creatrix, Bean feasa.
the ancient mythological figure,which shape shifts through time.
We will begin with an illustrated talk on her many aspects which were woven through the consciousness through time, expressing herself through the lens of each culture.
We will also see how she shows herself in the landscape  - mythologized through placenames and landforms followed by a guided meditation to journey deep inside to experience her wisdom and good council.

This workshop is led by archaeologist and celebrant Áine Brosnan.

It is held in Caherdaniel Community Hall. Bring a blanket!
