CALL CENTRE - Double Single Release - with hominid & Health and Education

Call Centre welcomes you to join them in celebration of the release of two brand new singles, ‘A New Landspeed Record’ and ‘Mending Steam Engines’. The former presents plucky middle-western emotive guitars over frenetic, pulsing drums, while the later plumbs the depths of eerie, echoing, downtempo garage.

Call Centre are a four piece instrumental outfit from Te Whanganui-a-Tara whose members share an undying and equal passion for intricate guitar work, danceable rhythms, and derelict, dissonant soundscapes. Not only that, they’re coming to a town near you in October!

Hominid is the Electronic music project of Te Whanganui a Tara based sound designer and composer Benny Jennings.

Influenced by IDM, ambient and uk club sounds Hominid’s music is a push pull of delicate

textures meeting wild flourishes, club dynamics brushed with soft touches & heart felt sonics.

The music is then reconstructed for a live setting a performed on an Ableton Push.
